Does this card work in a Samsung Droid Charge phone?

The SD cards work in most phones, but you would have to call your provider, because phones on certain providers have the SD card slots locked for some reason. For instance on Ntelos one of the droids the SD slot is locked and will not read any expandable memory.

the description at newegg says it is class 10 (pretty high speed capable for data storage/retrieval).  The picture of the disk says it is C1. I don't konw if the 1 in the U (a C on it's side)  is logrhymic (meaning 1=10) or arithemetic.  Suggestion: ask sandisk for a decipher of their labeling.  I do not  use the card bought in super-high-speed data storage/retrieval.  Best wishes.

Only if it has a sd slot or a micro sd slot on it (this micro sd card comes with a full size sd card adapter). It usually comes specified in the specs or overview of the tablet if it doesn't say it then It may not have a slot.
