How is it possible to have 90MB/s read speed with USB2? USB2 is limited realistically to about 35MB/s.

My experience with this drive is that it does not reach these speeds. I like it for the large capacity and small size and price. I use fat32 formatting, and switch files between a PC and a Mac daily. I once filled it with 57 gigs of PDF files, and it took about 170 minutes. The write speed was about 5.58mb/sec for me. Read speed was harder to measure for me, but it appears to cap out around 20mb/s with my 2012 computer. I was able to watch video files off of it without skipping, so I hope that helps.
