Pros: Been using it for about 11 days now, transferred all of my old 32GB data to it, now I have 32GB of storage free! Transfers have been fast so far, though I know read/write are different it took about 11 minutes to write the data to my HDD and about 3 minutes to put it back on this new 64GB.
Cons: It's a little too wide for my tastes, some USB slots are kind of small, I don't expect a micro, but as close to the width of the USB port itself as possible. I also don't like how the slide part slides into the hole where the string or keyring or (insert choice of securing device). It's fine really, but I wish it didn't do that.
Overall Review: I'd buy it again, heck, i'd buy another 50 if my company needed them.
Pros: Was good when it was functional
Cons: Died after 9 months of usage with Shield tv. Lost alot of saved games and app data, disappointing.
Pros: 256GB 100MB/s "READ" speed SanDisk durability
Cons: None, BUT!
Overall Review: I had a couple of 128GB version of this exact same model and bought were super fast at WRITING speeds and I'm not sure if it is because the 256GB models use different controller or ICs that the speed of the 256GB model was not as good as I wanted to be or thought at least. I cannot test the unit any longer to show the speed but definitely slower than the 128GB version, and bought the 258GB SanDisk because of my PNY USB3.1 slow speeds also, it's not that I don't have the time but I expected the same or better. Nevertheless, the drive performs well, never hot-hot-hot, and no hiccups at reading or transfer file to an SSD NVMe. I bought two but gave them to friends for back up of their most important files. I don't know what else to get but M.2 drives with M.2 to USB 3.0 adapters is my next move as the M.2 SSD have a 500MB/s+ R/W speeds and for an extra $10 or so it's worth it IMO, this way I know I'm getting super fast drives. Would I recommend this drive? For storage and back up of your most important files? Yes, definitely but I wasn't doing that with the drives and I may need a 512GB now I think. 4 star only because the 128GB version is faster at W speeds if it had been higher? Absolutely a 5 star.
Pros: Great flash drive
Cons: none
Cons: FIles copied to this drive fail verification even after multiple attempts. This is the 2nd flash drive in a row from SanDisk that has given me problems. I don't think there will be a 3rd.
Overall Review: This is for the 128GB model. Not reliable, files fail to copy correctly. Perhaps I'm just unlucky, or SanDisk has serious QC issues.
Pros: I really like the SanDisk SecureAccess software, which is the main reason that I bought this. It's basically the SanDisk modified version of ENC DataVault. The software from ENC is $14.99 for a license that works on 3 devices. I had really bad luck with the free trial, but what came on my flash drive from SanDisk works great. The software on this is basically worth $5. 64GB is a good amount for the price.
Cons: I really hate the colors of SanDisk flash drives. Black is horrid for computer products because it shows dust and dirt like crazy and it's ugly. In the 1990's computer products were often beige and even that was less ugly. Doesn't come with an activity light like I thought when I made my "purchase comments" right after ordering it. It's not USB 3.1, but I don't have 3.1 on my current PC anyway. You'll have to trust others more about actual speed numbers, but this seemed slow when I copied a roughly 5GB folder of data to it. It was less slow when not encrypting data.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this flash drive to others. It's a great bang for the buck and has good security software. Honestly, the only reason to buy a SanDisk product is for the software. A 5 year warranty is good too. I really wish other colors were an option. The shape of this is strange too. It looks like a severed finger. For some reason, most of the newer flash drives I've looked at lately don't have activity lights. I don't know what's going on, but it's really hard to find a nice flash drive right now.
Pros: Easy plug n play use. Saves things and stuff.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Would purchase another but I bought two the first time.
Pros: I like the capless design and hole for a lanyard or keyring clip. Shape of the case is a little more stylish than some of the block-shaped competitors. I didn't realize this until I started using it, but the shape is really clever and ergonomically designed. When you slide the USB connector into its open position, the tail end of the unit becomes a convenient tab to push/pull the unit into/from your computer's USB port. The curved shaped of the tab comfortably fits between your thumb and forefinger.
Cons: None yet. Sandisk devices have always been reliable for me, so I don't expect any problems.
Overall Review: Sandisk rates USB 3.0 read speed as "up to 100 MB/s", but it actually does better. Unit comes formatted as xFAT by default, and my CrystalDiskMark test results were: Sequential Read/Write : 114/25 MB/s 512KB Random Read/Write: 51/10 MB/s I bought this 128GB capacity model to store some very large files, so I reformatted it to NTFS. Rerunning CrystalDiskMark produced slightly different results when formatted as NTFS: Sequential Read/Write : 125/12 MB/s 512KB Random Read/Write: 57/1.9 MB/s
