Is this USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) or just USB 3.1 (5Gbps)?

This is USB-c and does 10Gbps when plugged into my new Mac Mini.

Not that you'll find a drive that fast (WD VelociRaptor is around 2Gbps), and SATA3 tops out at 6Gbps, and the fastest SSD I can find is just over 5Gbps, but I suppose you could make a case for the Need For Speed.

Again, I wouldn't use them in hot-swap mode (the entire chassis resets when you swap either drive) or built-in RAID (you can't see the SMART parameters of the individual drives) but it's a nice box, and a good price, I might pick up a couple more.
