Question 1

Does this card really have a memory clock of 1000 MHz? I thought 500 MHz was the norm.

The specifications on new egg list the "effective" memory clock. I believe it is 500MHz, but it's a bit wonky given the 4096-bit memory interface. The best stat to go by is memory bandwidth. I believe the bandwidth is 512 GB/s, which is twice that of prior cards.

Will this play Witcher 3 and Fallout at high-relsoution settings ???

Yes this will play the Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 at high resolution settings.

Mine is currently running games on an ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor. Performance varies in both games.  However there are plenty of graphical tweaking guides and I am able to achieve 50+ fps with high settings.

It has to be noted that Nvidia Hairworks and Godrays do have performance issues on AMD cards. Both of these are recommended to be turned down/off.

One should also note that only a very small number of cases really require an R9 Nano. It's definitely a niche product. If you have a regular sized case or even an ITX cases that can fit a R9 Fury or GTX 980TI. You would be better served by one of those cards.

Question 3

In the specifications the form factor is listed as mini itx. Does that mean I can't use it with a regular atx mobo?

Yes, AMD is marketing this card as ITX because its the most powerful Small Form Factor GPU you can buy to Date.  This was made for ultra performing Small Form Factor HTPC style builds.  If you are using a ATX motherboard and have the room inside your case for a AIO liquid cooler and you are a AMD fan, I would suggest going with the Fury X.  The Fury X is the same price as the Nano with greater performance and Icy Cold with the dedicated liquid cooler.  If you want to save some money and you can't fit the AIO in your case, I would go with the R9 Fury.  The Fury is much larger than the Nano with the extended cooler but has around the same performance as the Nano but considerably cheaper.  Note you will need a good 2 and a half slots available to fit the Fury in the case.

Question 4

I have three R9 Nanos, two of these Sapphires and one Powercolor. I can't seem to get my machine to not crash when Windows loads with all three installed. Is this *definitely* because one is a Powercolor? If it's not that, is it  because I'm not meeting the individual slot requirements for the pcie x##? Is there a minimum of pcie x8 on these cards? It's currently installed in slots providing x8 x8 x4 respectively. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I highly doubt it is the Powercolor.  Are you sure your motherboard supports 3-way crossfire?  Either way the additional card should not cause windows to crash...  There must be some other issue aside from the third card in your pie x4 slot.

How many amps for the 12v rail are recommended to power the R9 Nano?

The answer is right on the Newegg spec sheet for the R9 Nano: "600W (or greater) power supply with one 150W 8-pin PCI Express power connector recommended".

what is the width of this graphics card? I see it already states the length and height

It is no wider than 2 slots on the back of the case. Check the Saphire site to see if they list it.

Sorry if this is obvious but I'm still a little new to this. The specifications say this card is mini itx form factor. Would it fit on a regular atx mobo?
