This card requires a 6-pin AND an 8-pin PCI Express power connector.
Power consumption: estimated at up to 235W
Recommended PSU: 500W minimum

And pay no attention to the "multiple rails needed" comments. There was a point in time when PSUs began adding more and more +12V rails, for no other reason than marketing to the gamer crowd.

In short, while more rails = less interference from power draw on other rails, it also means less total power on each rail. There are some really silly setups out there now, where you might have an 850W PSU with 6x +12V rails, for example. That sounds great, until you do the math... at that rating, you'd be lucky to actually get 100W RMS to each +12V rail.

Stick to a reliable brand PSU (or a rebrand with good guts like most EVGA or Corsair), with either 1 or 2 +12V rails. Anything with more rails would need to be ridiculously spec'd (like 900W+) in order to provide adequate power to each rail for a GPU and any other peripherals that might also be 12V.

Well  first off let me say i don't bitmine. But, I will say you should not have overclock at with the card. These card already have a factory over clock on them and its pretty maxed. infact there is much of an overclock window left on them after the factory over clock. you can tweek them a lil with the sapphire trixx software. I am very satified with these cards

Considering this card for productivity use. I have dual Samsung 28" ultra 4k's, and need to run both of them via HDMI @ 2560x1440 or greater resolution and need to make sure this card can handle it?

First thing, These are good video cards. I run 2 of them in crossfire. as for you monitors. However, at 2560 X 1440 this is only 2K. But, I have a similar monitor. At this size the resolution you are going to run will be perfect mainly because at this size you cannot tell 4K from 2K. if you were running a 40+ inch monitor you could tell the difference between 2K and 4K.  You should be ok to run this can on dual monitors at 2560X1440 resolution.

Not much. The special edition has slightly better silicon. You're looking at maybe a 2-3 fps difference.

They benchmark it in quiet mode (up to 1411 MHz) and boost mode (up to 1450 MHz). You can think of quiet mode on the Limited Edition to be equivalent to the regular Nitro+, since its max boost clock is 1411 MHz.
The benchmarks only show about 1 FPS difference, but they said the boost mode on their Limited Edition didn't hit 1450 MHz constantly; it was averaging 1430 MHz.n answer to this question.
