This specific card is Sapphire’s “Special Edition” and only comes in the blue paint job.  If you want a black card, I’d recommend the offerings from XFX or Asrock.

The blue Sapphire card looks much better in person than in the pictures.

Can the LEDs in the fans be turned off? Are the LEDs only blue or are they addressable?

Yes, but you need the software TRiXX from the Sapphire website to do it. The LEDs are any color and you can change that color based on the temp of the card, the speed of the fans, or just make them different all together.

there no need to worry if the GPU compatible with the CPU , all you need is it make sure it would fit your case and motherboard and i recommend you (MSI X470 GAMING PRO) since it made for AMD processors .

Yes; assuming your other hardware is on par with the GPU. It should run Battlefield 1 on ultra settings at an average of about 78 FPS.

I don't know about the 590, but my 580 works well except the 5 minutes of long booting time at first. I think they are almost identical except the slight difference of Boost Clock speed.

Ok, so I have two questions.

1) Do you need both the 8 pin and the 6 pin connector? It says in the description that you only need the 8 pin, and if you do need both, what you you suggest I do if I only have a 6 pin?

2) Are the games for the AMD 50 promo still active? It says again under the product name that it is, but I just want to confirm.

You will need to have both 6pin + 8pin to power this GPU. Sadly, the AMD 50 promotion is still active for just the rYZEN 2700X

why is the 580 more expensive?

Most likely because AMD is competing with NVIDIA's latest 1660 card that was just released.  So they're keeping the price lower on the 590 since there's more stock. I really like this card though. I'm currently OCed at 1615MHz (1560 stock), 8475MHz RAM, 77mV and very stable and quiet.  Bought mine at $289 and it's worth every penny!
