Am I correct to assume that this monitor does not have a headphone jack?

That is correct. It has a 3.5 mm mini jack for audio input only. Meant for use if your using the vga or dvi connections but still want to use the monitors speakers.

I think it will work...  your lntel NUC D34010WYK looks like it has micro hdmi output. .. If it does, you're going to need a micro hdmi to hdmi cable.  
The audio will hook right up ... I think it has a audio cable with the monitor  (don't quote me on that )

I am new to Macs.  I need to add a second monitor to my computer (mac laptop) so that I can view several documents at once.  Would this monitor be compatible?

If you have a Mac laptop that has HDMI out, then you will be able to plug the monitor in directly using just an HDMI cable, if your Mac uses Mini Displayport, then you will need a Mini Displayport adapter that will change to either HDMI, VGA, or DVI, all of which are supported by this monitor.

It does not have speakers build into it. So if you are connecting it to an entertainment system, then yes.

It will work fine with that configuration. Its a simple plug-and-play monitor.

Does this monitor really have those hideous Windows and HDMI decals on it? I see other sellers with pictures of a clean bezel.

I ordered 2 of these, both came with the decals in the pictures applied to them, but they are simply stickers, and were easily removed.

Would I be able to use this with an Xbox 360?

I have never tried it seeing as i use it for a computer monitor. But due to the fact it has an HDMI port im lead to believe that as long as you use an HDMI cord with your Xbox that it should work. But I've never personally tried it.
