Good fan, low price 2/8/2007 11:52:00 AM

Pros: Low speed, large fan surface area, quiet motor @ 12v

Cons: Too large for most 92mm applications. Slight low-frequency buzz @ 12v.

Overall Review: Great fan for cheap. I bought two and cut out one to swap out the fan in my Zalman CNPS7000B HSF. The Zalman fan is very buzzy. This fan was too big to fit inside the HS, so I had to trim the edge of each blade 2mm with a dremel. Works fine now. Good airflow for the noise level. Slight low-frequency hum/buzz @ 12v but should go away at 7v.

Pros: Quieter than the 92mm Nexus.
Unbeatable price.

Cons: 100mm won't fit everywhere.
Had to "engineer" 2 of them to fit on the Antec Solo intake.

very quiet 10/30/2006 2:29:34 PM

Pros: They are quiet, virtually silent.

Cons: They don't push as much air as the noisy ones I replaced.

Overall Review: I'm using 3 of these to suck air into my case - been working for over a month.

Great Silent Fan 8/12/2006 5:22:44 AM

Pros: This is now the quietest fan in my computer. Large and pushes a lot of air, but not sound.

Cons: Not a problem in my case, but make sure you have room for it. It is wide and deep.

Practically Inaudible 5/25/2006 11:39:51 PM

Pros: Finally, a 100mm/92mm fan for ultra quiet computers. Silent. Virtually inaudible! Perfect for AMD systems and Celeron D's that run fairly cool. This fan moves a respectable amount of air compared to an 80mm fan (a loud fan on my aftermarket heatsink) and fits where 120mm fans don't.

Cons: Slow moving fans don't move huge amounts of air, so, this may not be the fan for systems with powerful Intel processors or gaming video cards.

Overall Review: To run this fan completely silent, I use a Zalman 56 ohm resistor (1 or 2 watts, I think) to run this fan around 879-959 RPMs according to Speedfan and Asus Probe.
