Why is the volume of the brewed coffee less than the selected cup setting?
It is normal for brewed coffee to be 1–2 cups less than the selected setting due to:
1. Coffee grounds absorb water.
2. Some coffee remains in the filter holder.
3. Small water loss from evaporation.
Why is the brewed coffee warm not hot?
If not preheated, brewing just 2–4 cups may result in warm coffee, which is normal. We recommend preheating the machine and carafe by brewing 2–4 cups of water before use.
After a power outage, do I need to reset the clock and keep-warm duration?
Yes. After a power outage, the clock must be reset. The keep-warm duration will return to the default 2 hours.
After removing the carafe, a small amount of coffee still drips. Is the anti-drip function not working?
This is normal. A small amount of coffee that remains in the valve may drip after the carafe is removed.
Why does the machine not start brewing at the scheduled time?
After setting delay brew, the machine must stay powered on. The PROG indicator light will stay on if set correctly. If it is off or flickering, the setting failed. Make sure the light stays on after setup.
