What material is the carousel made of?

The carousel is 100% metal.

This is the second Sharp oven we own.  The first we had for over 10 years and moved to our other home, and are using this latest unit in our current home.

What are outside measurements?

Mine is mounted in an enclosure, so can't give you all the outside measurements.  I tried to put the link for the manual here, but it wouldn't let me.  Go to the Sharp website or or do an internet search for Sharp R-930AK Manual to find it, and see page 27.  It says 24 5/8 W x 14 7/8 H x 19 1/8 D.

Question 3

In looking at this and comparing it to a GE the Sharp says it has a quick cook, while the GE does not, what is the quick cook?

The term quick cook may refer to the sensor cook feature.  The user manual is available at the sharpusa website - bottom line is that this microwave does it all and does it well.  Look around for best price if you want, but I got mine cheaper and faster from newegg than I could from anywhere else.
