Could I use this with an ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA and a WDS100T2B0B WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB SATA III M.2 2280 Solid State Drive to make the M.2 SSD a Bootable Drive?

I am not sure why you need this adapter card considering the board has an m.2 slot on board, which can be configured to be booted from with changing some UEFI/BIOS settings. You could use this card easily for using a second card for storage.
