Try using the HDMI cable if not already doing so.  For other potential settings, see the owners manual included on the CD that came with the monitor.  I hope this helps.

does this monitor have good color reproduction?

It definitely does not compare to the quality of a higher price ips monitor.  My experience is it is worse color than. a macbook pro retina monitor, LG's 4k monitor, and Acer's 27" 1440p Predator

does this monitor operate at 75hz with freesync off? currently running an nvidia gpu

Yes if you use HDMI. But you will need to manually select 75HZ in windows and game settings. I makes a big difference over 60HZ IMO.

It's 36.5 cm top of frame to bottom and 62cm wide. With the stand it's 45.5cm tall.

It should be compatible with the proper cable or adapters. This monitor has a HDMI input so you may need a cable to go from a Mini-displayport to HDMI unless you Mac had an HDMI output.

I never opened my monitor but from my research I believe the monitor only has the standard mount that comes with it. I don't think it has Vesa, you should check dells spec sheets
