Just the plate that the TV/Monitor actually attaches to. Range up/down and side to side is good. Beware though. I had to cut openings into this piece for the attachment of power cord and HDMI cable for my24" AOC computer monitor. If all your cables exit downward it should be OK for all.

This should work with VESA 100 mm mount PC monitor correct?

I just measured one that I have not installed yet.
I read these possibilities:
200 X 200
200 X 100
100 X 200
100 X 100 *
75 X 75
And whatever combination you may wish to make out of those.
This is a very sturdy steel device.
It will likely hold more weight than they claim.
Plenty of mounting hardware included.
The screws that go into the 2X4s are 2½", but require a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
I bought Hex head screws from a hardware store, (3 reqd.), drilled proper pilot holes and used a ratchet wrench to drive them in.
THIS IS IMPORTANT:
Use a stud finder, I would not hang my hat on a hook that was not securely fastened.
THE DEVICE DOES NOT ROTATE:
Be very careful to mount it straight and level, or spend over $200 for one that does.

what is max load capacity for this item?

I can't remember for sure but I think it is 40lbs. I used it to mount two 20 inch monitors and it could handle a heavier monitor if needed. I hope that helps.

How far out does it extend?
I need a mount for a 27" Toshiba w/builtin DVD player, that will allow the TV to swivel 90 degrees from the wall. That's about 15" extension.

From the wall to the mounting plate, it extends 14" (plus or minus 1/4").

Is there different mounting kits that can be added to the swivel arm of this?  For let's say a bigger TV?  To give an idea- I have another TV I want to mount its about 37 pounds, but is a little bigger - I believe its either VESA A or B 300x300, and wondering if the parts breakdown on this item - because I want to put a different TV up on my wall and dont want to remove the whole thing, I was wondering if just the bracket can be removed and replaced with a bracket that can fit on a different size model - perhaps some kind of piece for this mounting kit in particular if it is universal like that.  I hope this makes sense.  Thanks!

The plate is rather large and is one solid unit that attaches to the arm by two bolts, so it could potentially be taken off and switched. Not sure if they have other plates you can buy for it but I would doubt it. It would probably be cheaper to buy a different mount if that is what you need in the long run... However, you could probably mount extension arms to the existing mount to allow for the 300x300.

Is this mount rigid enough for touch usage?

The mount itself is rigid enough, but if you put a very large TV on it like 50 to 60 inches, and if you have it mounted just into drywall rather than to a stud, the touch screen you would probably cause it to rip out of the wall.  I have a 32-inch TV on mine, and it's attached to a stud in the wall, I wouldn't have any problems using it as a touchscreen.

In the future, I will be looking for Monitors and wall mounting arms for my store. How do I know what monitors have the panel for mounting and the ones that do not?
