Looking to Powerful (1000+) PSU to power the Asus X79 Deluxe Mobo. Will this work? I'm a little confused

here are the specs for the board
ATX power connectors (24-pin EATXPWR; 8-pin EATX12V)

Yes, all PSUs have standard 24-pin connectors. I am happy with the unit, powering 4 GPU to max of 1400Watts

About how long is the power cord? I plan on having my rig about 5 feet away from the socket i plan on plugging it in. Is it long enough to make it? Thanks for answering if you did....

No, it's only a 3ft cord but if you plug it into a surge protector that should be enough to cover the distance.

I have this power supply and it works great, but I recently moved and lost the main power cable from the outlet. Does anyone know where I can buy this? I checked the silverstone site but I dont see it as being for sale. Thanks!

What minimum power UPS will i have to use with this?

You don't choose a UPS based on power supply, you choose it based on the amount of current the PC draws.  All we know is your looking at a PS with a max rating of 1500W, it will not draw full power unless the PC needs it.

Most UPS manufactures have an app or chart on their site to choose size.  If you need a PS this large the UPS can get expensive and basically just be used to auto shut down your PC rather than just have it power off.
