How well do the magnets work?

They are about as strong as your normal refrigerator magnets. Stays in place on the side of my steel case and has a good seal over my fan intake vent keeping alot of dust out. Some finer dust still gets in but that's to be expected.

Question 2

Will this fan filter be compatible with the PSU intake fan on the Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced? If it matters, I have a Corsair RM850w power source installed in the bottom PSU slot.

I went to Cooler Master's and Techgage websites today, and took a close look at this case.  It says both 120mm & 140mm will fit, but I don't see how.  To me, it looks like only the 140mm could be used for the intake areas on the bottom, as I don't see the 2 sets of holes for both sizes.  I also would put the fan filters on the inside of the case(metal is flat on the inside), and these filters would be raised up some and not seat right(letting particles in).  I would also worry about the little area to the back of this case(right under the PSU), where there is no place to cover the rest of the opening under the PSU with a filter(letting in particles there too).  I hope this helped...

Question 3

What's the color of the filter itself?  It looks pink or red tinted.  Is this just the picture or what?  I have corsair fans with white LED's and don't want these to change the look anymore than 
any other screen/filter material is gong to anyways.

There is no color tint on the ones I have, they're just a very fine black mesh - almost completely transparent. Artifact of the photography, I guess. When they turn white with dust, I know it's (past) time to clean them!

Question 4

Long shot but... I have two types of PC cases, Cougar Solution and the Ultra Defender PC gaming case (both described as steel gaming cases)... anyone know if they will magnetically stick to bottom of thse cases? (not sure if anyone else is using those cases and tried this product with it?)...

.... I know the odds of you having the exact same case as me are small :P , so failing that, if your case is described as "steel" as well.. did you have any luck with the magnets making it stick without having to screw it in?   Some reviewers are stating the magnet is weak and doesn't work, others are stating magnet works great.. would be awesome just being able to whip it off and clean it without unscrewing  :)

Also has anyone tried slapping these onto the front of a case (Cougar Solution in my case) where the front appears to be plastic?  I know I know DUH of course the magnet wouldn't work :P .. but figured I'd ask anyways...

If it's steel, it should stick on your case.  As someone mentioned in one of the reviews, the magnet strength is comparable to a refrigerator magnet.

On my case (a basic style Gigabyte Triton I bought a few years ago), it sticks fine - no screws needed.  I use two filters, one on each of the side vents.  I wanted to use one for the front intake fan too, but that didn't work out because of the case design.  Fortunately, the plastic filter that came with the case works good enough for that fan.

At the risk of pointing out what might be obvious, beside having a steel surface to attach the filter to, the important considerations for this to work best is to measure the area you want to attach the filter (which is about 5½" square) to make sure you have adequate clearance, and all sides sit on a flat surface.  Also, the mesh on the filter is relatively sturdy, but it does have a slight amount of give - might be a factor if you mount it in front of a fan, depending on how much clearance there would be between the filter and fan blades.

For what it's worth, this is one of those small purchases that I'm more glad I made every time I clean my PC.  Since I've been using these, I hardly have any dust that gets inside.  The quality of the material is good for its purpose and it's easy to clean.

Question 5

Title says the color is black. I want black. It seems to show blue. I want black?

I've bought several of these, and they're black, not blue.  The color on the site seems to be a trick of the light used to make the photograph.

Question 6

Is the size actually 140mm is that the rounded size (from outside edge to outside edge)?
Is the screen saggy at all or is it tight? My current ultra fine mesh filters had saggy screens and it causes it to rub against the fan.

They match the 140mm bolt pattern, not sure about overall size. There is a little play in the screen but not enough that I think it would effect it. I have a Corsair case and the intake I have the screen mounted on is technically mounted over a "holed" part of the case so the screen doesn't have the ability to touch the fan. Filter grabs everything that passes through it. Body is magnetized as well to help seal the contact edges. Hope this helps.
