Yeah, they are powered by a molex intersect cable. As in it has both a male and female molex head so you can say connect it from the powersupply and then to a fan also. Not sure how bright they are as mine came DOA.

is not that wide. when I bought mines I had a very limited space but I was able to hide it very good. and the lights are very bright so very worthy.
