It will with the included adapter and with room to spare. But the wires are a little short the 12v especially so you may want to consider a different model or have an extension jic.

Question 2

Why is it filed under ATX? This power supply is SFX. I had to search for the model number to find it.

Yes it should be filed under SFX, someone made a mistake when adding it to the site.  I think there are a few others that are not correctly filed under SFX as well.  I remember when I was looking for the best SFX power supply.

Question 3

I see that it has a 24pin main, does it also have a 4pin 12V ATX connector?

Are there any more details as to number of connectors for powering peripherals (SATA hard drives, CD/DVD combos)?

Yes, I'm looking at mine right now, There's a 24 pin and 4 pin side-by-side.

There are 3 sata power plugs total
There are 2 classic Molex power plugs
There is 1 small molex power plug for Floppy drives
There is a PCIe 6-pin power plug.

Should also note that the fan does NOT spin unless it's under considerable load, which for me, has been never, even though I have many browser windows open and even running a few 
virtual machines.

I'm running an i3-4130 with 8GB ram, no gfx card, in an Asus ITX mobo.

Any idea on how many hard drives this unit can support in a low power environment? An environment that uses an Intel Atom processor?

I suppose that really depends on the power consumption of your drives.  I am using it to power an Intel Core i3 along with 4 laptop HDs.  The PS has no problems handling it.  As a matter of fact, I don't think it has ever gotten warm enough to turn its fan on.

cant find any pictures that show the bottom of the psu for mounting screw holes for a sfx case where it would sit on its side?

its the same as a regular power supply. this power supply is smaller then normal ones. it come with a bracket  for mounting to atx

24 pin  and 8 pin mobo, 8 pin vga,  4 sata, 2 pata, 1 floppy

Will this fit in a SFF case?

Depends on the case.  Most SFF cases have their own power supply.  Those that don't will tell you what type of power supply it will take.  Hope this helps.
