Question 1

Is there a potential for the magnet to affect the hard drive? Was wondering since I have 4 120mm case fans that need filters.

I highly doubt they will affect the HD in any way at all.  There is only 4 magnets on each filter and they are very very small ones.  They are just strong enough to make the filter stick to the case.  Silverstone seems to be a legit company too and I don't think they would make a product that is meant to be on a case able to harm the hard drive inside said case.  That would be really a stupid move on their part if they included magnets strong enough to damage the computer.  There are plenty of fan filters that come with magnets on them too so I am sure that they are all safe and will not hurt any component inside the computer.

Question 2

Similar to Terry P's question. I'd like to use this for the Antec Three Hundred Two's fan intake behind the mobo tray. I plan on using this on the outside of the panel not inside.

That being said, do I need to worry about the magnets having any affect on the mobo? Are the magnets weak enough to not worry? Do magnets even affect mobos/cpus?

The magnets are pretty weak. No more of a magnet then the small speaker that some mother boards have. That being said..... I guarantee nothing :)
