Probably not. Unless you have the newer Surface . BTW, there are many generations. What is yours ? Most of the past generations which had M.2 will only need a PCI E 3.0 . This Is a PCI E 4.0 which will work, but the older Surface will not benefit from the Newer 4.0 standard. So you are paying more for something that will not improve performance over a 3.0 ssd will offer. Solidigm has a P41 model which is lower priced and will max out the potential of your Surface.
