Would this be a good size for children? My 9year old can use the regular keyboard but I think a smaller one would allow him and his younger brothers to start to learn real keyboarding and not finger typing.

Hmm.  At first I was unsure if this would be a good way about it.  I mean, learining on a nonstandard keyboard might lead to negative learning.  When you transition to a larger keyboard will it then be harder to "re-learn"?  After more thought, the layout of the primary keys is correct, so it might just be fine for someone with smaller hands/fingers.  I only use it as a last resort in the field to avoid having to use the on-screen keyboard on our system, but it's very small and ackward.  probably because I have normal sized hands...  It's worked well for the small amount of time that I've used it.
