does this come with stand?

This comes with a stand as shown.  However, mine did not come with a high-speed hdmi cable or 3D glasses; which both are required for the this set.  I ordered the PS3 glasses as I had trouble with newer Samsung glasses not pairing with the set.

Hey, I know there is a lot of negative feedback on this monitor however, with the cheap 1 year extended replacement plan for the monitor I see no problems with just buying that and replacing if need be. It is sony, it is going to be tempermental and should be treated with use in moderation.... What i haven't seen in my research is the PS4 compatibility. Does the PS4 work well with the monitor in regard to output and projection on the screen?

I like this monitor even though I had a dead pixel on it but Newegg took care of it super fast and that's why I like Newegg so much. The new one they gave me works like a charm.  I think you might like it, It has really good sound for what you're paying for and it has 2 hdmi ports so you can plug in your PS4 and PC or Xbox One.

In my opinion you should use it as a replacement monitor because I really like mine and i'm not sure why it has so much negative feedback. But if you want a really nice looking designed Sony monitor that does 1920x1080p and that would go really good with your PS4 then if I was you I would buy it.

This is a 16:9 24" monitor.  Therefore, its screen dimensions are 11.7 inches by 20.9 inches.  However, the speakers on the side increase its width somewhat, giving it a profile closer to 27 inches in reality.  Its height is increased by the stand another few inches, so it stands at around 16 inches tall.

For safety and heat concerns, I'd make sure the area you keep it in is around 18 inches tall and 30 inches wide.

PC? Yes, by HDMI-HDMI  or HDMI DVI cable, No analog pc connection,
screen very reflective (like glass crt) so for pc, have to wear a black shirt 
and not use a white keyboard like I do, its too reflective if you are not using the this High quality screen for movies and 3D stuff, get something more suitable for pc work.
It will also do 3D from PC in half resolution @60i or fHD@24Hz, if you have the correct software player such as powerdvd.
you can also display side by side and top to bottom 3D video using conventional media player with no special software, you will need to manually switch the screen mode to the correct 3d mode, and the source movie must already be in either sbs ot ttb format, 3D requires active glasses. 3D in this system also means %50 darker image, which I find disappointing (not bright@3D but still very good.) 3d works well with the sony 3d camcorders td20v	d30v and the fujifilm 3d W3 3D cameras at 1/2HD

Does this monitor display colors vividly? It is a "tv". Can i expect the same quality as a ASUS monitor? How is the refresh rate? Has anyone played a video game while maintaining the advertised refresh?

It does display colors well. It is NOT a TV (no tuner). The true refresh rate is 60 hz.  The "240 hz" is just some tricks the display does in an attempt to get rid of motion blur.  Buy this at your own risk:  They are "refurbished" but suffer from the same blinking red light failure you will read about if you google information about this display. Mine was sent in for warranty and I received a refund.

Is this product compatible with PC, Sapphire R9 270 Dual X video card ?

The monitor has 2 HDMI ports. It looks like that video card has HDMI out so yes it should be compatible. I don't know if your video card will do audio via HDMI though.

Question 7

Just purchased to use as a monitor and my Macbook Pro and my Dell laptop.  When it is hooked up there is no signal from either computer. Advice?

The monitor has a bad feature of turning off if it doesn't receive any signal within like 5 seconds. So as soon as you turn on the monitor be sure you hit the extend desktop function keys on your Dell/Macbook to give signal to your monitor. To buy yourself some time before monitor shuts off try changing volume.

BTW What output ports on your Dell/Macbook are you using?

The monitor works best w/ HDMI source signals. It has an option to standby as opposed to turning off only in HDMI mode. If you use any other source (VGA/DVI) the standby mode doesn't work.

Just FYI 3d works only with HDMI connection from your source. 
I have so far only tried HDMI and DVI sources from my desktop - both worked fine. The monitor didn't allow DVI signal to be converted to 3D. It refused to change from 3D auto to 3D SBS.

If both HDMI & DVI don't work for you, ask for replacement.

Question 8

Can I connect this to xbox 360 ? Or will it only work with Sony Playstation 3 ?

I have successfully connected a Xbox 360 to this set.

I played halo combat evolved anniversary in stereoscopic 3d.

Its very nice.  Adds real depth to the experience.  Seeing the gun in front of you is great.

I also played uncharted 3 on my ps3 slim.  Though you have to reset your video to HDMI even if it already is HDMI.  Once I reset it the 3d option was available in the game.  Pretty cool experience.

Though I've only played about an hour and a half in 3d so I haven't fully experienced it.

The set is really worth it.  Small yes but very good.

I know you need the glasses but I cannot find a detail about the included accessories. new this comes with hdmi cable and glasses. does this product include them?
