Yes it has a remote with on off , volume, channel change, input change, bass and treble, surround sound, etc.   It would need to be connected to a Sony TV for everything to work.

Nothing else - assuming your TV has an optical or RCA audio output. I used the included optical cable to hook it up to my Panasonic TV.
You might want to consider a Harmony remote. The soundbar has a remote with it but I (and my wife) prefer to have a single remote to control the soundbar, the TV, and the box I use to access my programming - I use a DirecTV DVR, but others may use a cable box. I just don't think a separate remote for each device is efficient.

Does this speaker system accept Bluetooth audio input?

No Bluetooth connectivity. It said it did in the original description. Kind of disappointed in that. But otherwise works great.

What is the mid range sound like on this unit?

hi jim,

if you're an audiophile, you may be disappointed with this unit..
the sound is ok, base is abit weak

its missing some of the higher end feature, for example, there are no hdmi inputs, and no wireless features

but i wanted something inexpensive and simple to use on an older model tv...

so for the price, the sound quality is decent,

product was worth it for me

I have a new Vizio 65in TV which the sounds is loud enough for for the room it's in so I am curious to know if anyone is using this soundbar on a Vizio and on a scale from 1 to 10 on quality (understanding it is only a 60W soundbar)?  I'm a little bit of a sound nerd so details are great.

I have a 55 inch  Vizio with this sound bar.  It isn't that great the price of these have dropped so much save your money and get a different one with bluetooth so you can play music from you phone. Very limited controls. It does sound nice but I am already upgrading to a different one. I think Vizio also makes a sound bar that is reviewed very high.

has anyone else had problems with the HT-CT60?? I received the sound bar @ woofer today, hooked it up to a new LG tv as directed.  Nothing, and I mean nothing happened when it was tuned on.  After a little time passed, the sound bar came on loud and clear.  I moved the sound bar to my main LG large screen, hooking it up as directed, and now the lights come on but there is no sound.  Any suggestions ???  Baffled again.

HI, mine I got it worked OK
Make sure your power connected firmly to the back or the sound bar.
I know it was a bit narrow and akward position to push connector head to the soundbar power terminal.

Also since there is no indicator on tv screen about the sound volume (only red led blink when you press remote volume each time either up or down) - check it whether it is muted from remote accidentally when you move or try to turn up the volume by pressing it multiple times to see sound coming from the sound bar.
I used with both optical and RCA input

I an using it on a Panasonic Smart TV. Contact Sony on their hot line for an answer. You can get the number online.....
