Experience life as a pro as you guide three rookie players in distinct storylines as they work to become all-stars in Sony's popular "The Life." Balance the interaction between teammates, coaches and rivals as you improve your skills in order to earn your way onto your favorite team by demonstrating the skills and overcoming the challenges unique to your position. Play as each of the five starting positions as you take on the other challenges of an NBA pro including injuries, press conferences and earning the all-important endorsement deals based on your performance.

The core fundamentals of gameplay – dribbling, passing and shooting – have been enhanced along with shooting and rebounding mechanisms. Drills, scenarios and 16 mini-games help your players develop experience which can be used to enhance their skills and performance. Up to eight local players can play at once or take your star players online and challenge the best that other players have to offer in league play.

Even games against the computer will be a challenge thanks to the improved AI. The sights and sounds of a true NBA experience will be delivered with authentic play-by-play, in-depth commentary, broadcast-style overlays and in-game highlights. To truly experience the NBA, you need to do it from the inside.
