How much does it weigh?

Round about 6 pounds. Sounds like a lot but truly doesnt feel like much. Though there are plenty of laptops out there, that aside I will say its perhaps one of the very best, well put together laptops I have come across in recent years.

PS. Sony as of last month announced it will be discontinuing production of laptops but will continue providing support for already sold devices/laptops. Should that be the case, I plan to grab another for myself. Its a rare combination of great screen, slim profile yet with an optical drive, superb keyboard and perhaps the next best thing to a Macbook pro in terms of build quality and design.

i want to know does this sony vaio,comes with 7 windows pro recovery disc? i only see windows 8 pro recovery disc.

Same here, just windows 8. Can make your own recovery discs Id imagine. I wouldnt touch win 8 with a 10 foot pole.
