Arkanoid Nintendo DS Game

Since its 1986 release, Arkanoid has become an arcade cult classic that has spawned three sequels. Combining the traditional block-breaking action of Breakout with power ups and a final boss, the game was written or ported to almost every 8-bit and 16-bit computer and console. But, all of those versions have lacked a feature which defined the arcade experience.

Taito, the original designers, have updated the graphics and have packed new features into the game along with a soundtrack by Zuntata. Play across both screens in three different modes: Clear Game, Quest Game and VS Com. In Clear game, you follow different, branching paths through over 140 stages. In Quest mode, you can play through your unlocked levels with additional challenges. And, VS mode pits you against a computer player to see who can clear stages faster.

The knob is mounted on ball bearings so you can apply arcade-style spin. You can use the D-pad or X/Y/A/B buttons to utilize your boosts and power-ups.
