Is the ARMSLIM2USB3 or StarTech ARMPIVOT better for a heavier monitor?

Accepted Answer

The ARMPIVOT has the higher listed capacity: up to 30.9 pounds, compared with 17.6 pounds for the ARMSLIM2USB3. Choose the ARMSLIM2USB3 if you want a spring-assisted arm with two USB passthrough ports and up to 18.4 inches of extension. Choose the ARMPIVOTB if you prefer a pole-style arm with a listed 17.7-pound capacity and up to 16.9 inches of extension. Question 4

Should I get the ARMSLIM2USB3 or Ergotron LX?

The Ergotron LX supports monitors from 7 to 25 pounds, provides 13 inches of lift, and carries a 10-year warranty. Compare your monitor’s weight and prioritize the USB ports or the LX’s higher stated weight capacity and longer warranty.
