Question 1

ARMTBLTDT or a taller adjustable stand like the SAIJI 360: which suits video calls better?

Accepted Answer

The SAIJI 360 is the more suitable choice when you want a stand that can raise a tablet to eye level: TechGearLab reports that it extends to 18.1 inches and highlights it for video conferencing. Choose the ARMTBLTDT when wall or under-cabinet mounting, a desk base, and a 4.7- to 12.9-inch device range are more important than a taller telescoping stand.

Question 2

Is the StarTech ARMTBLTDT better than a foldable tablet stand for a desk?

Accepted Answer

Choose the ARMTBLTDT for a fixed workspace where you want an adjustable arm, portrait or landscape rotation, and the option to mount it on a wall or under a cabinet. A foldable stand is a better fit if compact storage and taking the stand with you matter more; independent testing found foldable models such as the UGREEN easier to carry, while the ARMTBLTDT is designed for desk and mounted use.

Question 3

Should I get the ARMTBLTDT or StarTech’s ARMTBLTUGN gooseneck mount?

Accepted Answer

Choose the ARMTBLTDT if you want a freestanding desk base or the option to mount the holder on a wall or under a cabinet; it supports tablets from 4.7 to 12.9 inches. Choose the ARMTBLTUGN if you need a 19.7-inch flexible arm that clamps to a desk or counter and can be quickly detached; it is specified for most 7- to 11-inch tablets.

Question 4

Will this stand fit my tablet, and is there a weight limit?

Accepted Answer

It supports tablets and phones measuring 4.7 to 12.9 inches and weighing up to 2.2 lb (1 kg). Check both your device’s size and weight before buying.

Question 5

Can I adjust the viewing angle and switch between portrait and landscape?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The arm has two pivot points, and the holder rotates 360 degrees for portrait or landscape viewing. It is suited to adjustable desk or counter viewing; it is not a portable folding stand.

Question 6

Can I use it on a desk and mount it on a wall or under a cabinet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It includes a large desk base and a separate mounting plate for wall or under-cabinet installation. Choose it for a fixed workspace setup rather than travel use; the stand itself weighs 3 lb.

Question 7

Can I use this stand with a tablet case?

Accepted Answer

The product information does not specify a maximum case thickness. Before buying, check whether your cased tablet can sit securely in the holder while staying within the stand’s 2.2 lb weight limit.
