Is this true 4K @ 4096 x 2160, or the other stuff 3840 x 2160? Didn't see this mentioned in the specs, and just saying 4K doesn't mean much when there are more than 1 setting for "4K".

To be honest I just use them for 1080 displays so I can run multiple hdmi monitors off of a DisplayPort video card. Startech makes pretty good product, I've never been disappointed.

What is the maximum resolution supported by the StarTech.com DP2HD4K60S DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter?

The maximum resolution supported by the StarTech.com DP2HD4K60S DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter is 4K x 2K at 60 Hz.

Will the PS4 Pro show 4k hdr to a DP 4k monitor if it has it with this adaptor?

I'm not sure about a "PS4 Pro". Your question points at the Newegg page for the StarTech DP2HD4K60S, which is the one I bought. I haven't tried mine with 4K. The specifications and product description do say that it works with 4K, and I'd be inclined to believe it. The manufacturer's web page confirms that. I bought it for a different reason. This device will translate the HDCP (High Density Content Protection) handshake from an HDMI input on a TV or monitor to DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection). Most DisplayPort outputs are licensed for both, but the device I have is DPCP-only. Connected by a passive adapter or cable to the HDMI input on a TV, my DisplayPort output would not turn on. This gadget fixed that problem.
