Hi, in this part description, it lists this as F/M adapter - I need the just the female PS/2 end. Is this the adapter to get?

Does that mean you are wiring directly to the female PS/2? In that case it is wrong part. Moulded and a pain to take apart and it would leave you without the body surrounding the connector formfactor. THis is designed to adapt between the USB male of the keyboard pigtail and the motherboard keyboard female plug on the computer backplane.
