Will this work if i plug this into hdmi an then put vga into my vga monitor?

I plug the HDMI into my laptop and then VGA to my monitor. My laptop only has 2 USB and 1 HDMI port, I need the USB for other devices and use the HDMI for external monitor use. It has a classy look and easy to store (not much difference to a thumb drive in size).

Will this unit adapt my VGA monitor lead to the Toshiba 1Gb 7I P55W laptop HDMI connection & work ?

It probably will. I have used this plugged into several different machines when I only had access to a VGA monitor (like in the data center for example) and it has always worked.

I don't know. It's a standard HDMI connector which is what I used it for.
