Does anyone know if it will work with the mini displayport on my ASUS Laptop - N550JK-DS71T?

I have used it on a Lenovo 440S and Dell XPS using the VGA output jacks without trouble using an LG and Acer 6235H monitors, but I did have some unacceptable static using the DVI output into an Acer monitor. It could have been the monitor though as it stopped working for me not soon thereafter.

Hi Ryan,

I'm not sure why Newegg sent this message to me but anyway, I bought this for a Dell laptop which has a mini-display port and I've only used the VGA output so far and it works great.

I *believe* that the Surface Pro 3 has a mini-display port on the side so it should work for it just as well.

The nice thing about this is that it has both, HDMI and VGA.  I don't think you'll ever need the DVI connector; at least if you're only doing presentations which is what I use it for...

will this product work from my pc to led tv?

I mainly use this device to connect my PC to a projector via the HDMI port (which supports sound). I have in the past also used it to connect my PC to an older monitor via the VGA port (no sound obviously). I think as long as the output matches what your LED TV accepts (assuming HDMI) this product should work.

It's also handy traveling for business as not all conference rooms have the appropriate cables.

Can you run two connections at the same time off the adapter?  My scenario would be Surface Pro 3, and two additional monitors (DVI & HDMI) all at the same time??

It is a passive "DP+" adapter; therefore only one connection type can be supported at once.  Look for "Dual Mode" on the DisplayPort Wikipedia page.

I've used this to hook my laptop up to hundreds of monitors traveling to do training for work in hotel conference rooms and in companys training facilities. I have not found a monitor it didn't work on in over a year.

No this device is nice because it will hook up to various devices, but it only outputs to one device at a time from what I understand.
