Question 1

Is there a micro HDMI version of this same multi monitor hub?  I am using a Lenovo Yoga 2 and do not have a mini dispolay port to receive this item.

Hello,

If supported by the computer's video card, this hub is capable of driving all three connected monitors at up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz.  If you weren't able to get this resolution on your additional supported monitors, please check if this configuration is supported by your video card, and also ensure you are using the latest drivers available from the manufacturer of the video card. Question 2

As this is technically an active device (powered with 10.2Gbps bandwidth), is it OK to to couple it with passive adapters?  Or for multi-link reasons does every cable need to be active as well (referring mostly to DisplayPort/DVI adapters)?

We have used it with passive adapters and seem to work. Used with display port to dvi-i converter.

Question 3

Just purchased the Hub, but did not include the adapter to connect my HDMI cable to the hub.  I see a picture that has StarTech connectors for HDMI, DMI, etc.

Where can we purchase these ? None came in the box, which I assumed from the picture it would.

Why would you think this is meant for HDMI? This is purely a DisplayPort hub (which is completely different technology than HDMI). As far as I know HDMI does not support multiple monitors over one connection like DisplayPort does. This is because the bandwidth available over DisplayPort is SO much higher than what HDMI currently offers. I don't know exactly what it is that you're wanting to hook up to what, but you can search for adapters at Newegg, i.e. DisplayPort to HDMI. It should bring up several to choose from. Wouldn't count on it working, however... or at least don't be surprised if it doesn't (this isn't an HDMI hub).

Does this device work with mac booker (Retina)?
I'll need to display my desktop on two 1980*1200 screens. On my laptop there is only one thunderbolt2 connection where I can connect to.
