The main purpose for a video splitter is that I want to use one laptop to connect multiple projectors to and display the same image or video on all projectors. Will this device do that?

I am using the one I bought to run two projectors and a flat panel tv all at the same time. You can only get the same image on all the screens. My only problem was that the input is male and requires a special cable.
