Is this StarTech UUSBOTG 5in Micro USB OTG Host Adapter M/F compatible with ASUS ME301T device?

I've only used it with a Dell Venue 8 Pro 64 which has a Windows 8.1 operating system.  The adapter allowed me to connect a USB flash drive to back up my system.

I don't know if it will work with the Android system but I don't see why it wouldn't as long as you have a Micro USB port.

I noticed that some ASUS ME301T, DO NOT have a Micro USB port so make sure yours does before purchasing.

Question 2

The micro usb on this cable does NOT fit my Nexus 7 port; iIt seems like it would break the port if I pushed harder.  Comparing the micro end of this cable to the one on the charging cable provided with the Nexus, I see a slight difference.  This cable has a solid plastic edge surrounding the micro end, whereas the one that came with the Nexus has little slots in the top of the plastic --  like the picture.  Could this be stopping it from fitting into the Nexus?

I ordered two and both of mine fit perfectly into my nexus. I dont think it would make a difference though because all micro usbs should be exactly alike. Do you have a case on your nexus? Perhaps the case is getting in the way? Otherwise, I think you probably got a defective item.

Will this work with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Tablet?

I have used it with a HP Omni and an Asus Vivo Smart tablet and they both worked, so I would think it should work.

Question 4

I have an HTC One M8 (soon the HTC 10).  I also want to buy Razer Kraken Chroma USB headphones.  Someone said that you can connect these to a phone using a USB OTG connector.  Everything looks compatible, but I just want to be sure.  I have Android 6 running on the phone, which has a 5 pin microUSB port like this.  Does anyone know if the Razer Kraken Chroma will work with my HTC One M8?  I don't care about the microphone part.

Daniel you will have to do 2 things to this setup to make it work:

1. You can't plug the headphones directly into the USB-A plug. You have to go through a headphone amplifier. Example: "Audioengine D1" (no batteries needed). Most amps have a USB "B" input so you will need a USB "A" to USB "B" adapter. I think this model  amp comes with the adapter cable.

2. You must have an audio player application on your phone such as "USB Audio Player Pro".

I've done this and it works.
