StarTech 19 Piece Computer Tool Kit in a Carrying Case

Pros: - Comfortable grips so you can get some muscle on a screw - Driver heads fit most PC screws very well, little slippage - Excellent build quality - They look really professional, so they're sure to impress the Ladies. - Great value, definitely worth the price.

Cons: - Case quality (especially the hasp) is a bit flimsy. I keep my set at home, mostly, so it's fine. However, if you put this case in a tool bag or in a work van permanently, I'm sure that it wouldn't last more than two months. - The blades on the flathead screwdrivers are sharp. I've cut myself a few times using them to pry cases open. That being said, I've also used the flathead screwdriver to defend myself against a gang of hoodlums, so I guess that it's not really a con any more.

Overall Review: - These screwdrivers are not magnetized. You may or may not want this, so it's neither a pro nor a con. - I'm amazed at how quickly mosquitoes breed after it rains. - Also, I like turtles.

Pros: Much higher quality than most computer toolkits. Actual hardened metal on the screwdrivers, so the tips' gripping notches don't strip away when you slip off screws; and screwdriver handles offer a real screwdriver grip so you can apply real torque; both unlike most PC toolkits. Includes all the screwdriver sizes you need for computer work. Nice durable case. Good price for the quality you're getting.

Cons: Cheap-ish feeling soldering iron.

Overall Review: A breath of fresh air if you're sick of cheap PC toolkits that don't feel solid or last long, and at a great price.

Pros: This kit comes with great screwdrivers, all suitable for computer use, no more using those itty bitty ones for getting in the tight spaces. Everything in the kit seems to be made of high quality, I haven't used some tools as I have some ones I'm just used to using (ex: rj45 crimper for stripping wires) and the soldering iron hasn't been used yet, but I've used various tools around the house and none of the parts have broken on me yet.

Cons: Never really was a big fan of soft cases, but it's really a minor thing to me.

Pros: I've been using one of these kits for years to do laptop repair for friends and family, and it continues to work well after much use. The black coat on the tips has worn away, but the metal remains strong and non-rounded.

Cons: The only times I've needed a torx driver, I've needed one smaller than what's in this kit.

Overall Review: The largest phillips sees the most use, and its handle has become discolored. The bearing at the top still spins with little friction, which is a convenient feature letting you apply pressure with one hand and spin with the other.

Pros: Not a bad tool kit for the cost. Has everything necessary for a first time building like myself.

Cons: I realize I read about the item before purchasing it, but I think for the price it would have been better if the screwdrivers were magnetized. Can't take an egg for that though. I knew what it was.

Pros: It has every thing I need for learning computer repair. Some of this stuff I don't even need yet but its nice to have. Even come with a soldering kit!

Cons: Was shipped separately from the rest of my order for a hidden $26 fee :( they should probably make you aware that the $26 overnight fee was going to be doubled O_o

Overall Review: should also come with one of those static straps.

Pros: I work at a tech bench and constantly use these on a daily basis. All drivers are still in one piece, and show minimal wear. Admittedly, I got these for free through a promotion, but I would definitely buy again if there was a need

Cons: Really stretching it for this, but the case is kinda cheap (the plastic cover broke off the hinge due to some careless co-workers). The black protective paint on the tips has worn off, but I can't really complain after using these on upwards of 5 different computers a day over a year and a half period.

Overall Review: I wish these came with a vinyl flathead to remove keyboards without running the risk of damaging the plastics around them.

Pros: Use this kit a couple of times, and decided that I needed one. I didn't actually have this kit, but another kit threw the same malefactor. The only difference between the one I use and this one, is this has more useful pieces and there are outlines of the individual tool in it's original spot which is a plus for me. The one I used before didn't and the tools never went back where they belonged and it kind of got frustrating! This tools kit gets pretty much everything done in a PC!
