Can these be stacked? I need up to 17 ports connected through one USB interface to a single control computer for communications with a set of industrial firmware controllers and motors. Therefore, I'm wondering if I can plug two 10-port units together... such as by using one of the first unit's ports to plug into the 2nd 10-port unit, while still having proper "pass-through" functionality on the 2nd unit's ports.

Theoretically, yes.... but I don't think that it would be a good practice.  If you do decide to go that route, make sure you power them both!

Question 2

How do I get a power supply? I keep searching and I keep getting weird stuff that definitely won't work. Could you point me to the power supply that would work?

Since we use this in an industrial application we supplied 24 volts from a DIN rack power supply. The connector is supplied with the unit. You can use a common 12 to 24 volt wall-wart and cut the end off, observe and check polarity before plugging in. Ensure the wal-wart supplies enough amps to support 0.5 amps X connections. In our case we had all 10 connections used resulting in allocating 5.0 amps @ 24 volts.

Do you sell a power supply that works with this USB hub?

I'm using my hub with no power supply. The hub comes with a screw on connector, and anything from about 7 to 12 volts (check the spec) will work. Lower voltage is better if you will be drawing much current. Make sure the supply will provide sufficient current for your devices, plus 20 percent minimum.
