I have a yoga 13 and a dell external monitor (dvi-d single link). The yoga does have a usb 3 port. I am looking for a cable to connect my dell monitor to me yoga using the yoga's usb 3 port. I am a complete hardware idiot so please no laughing. :-) Is this the product I want or is there something else that would better meat my needs? Is there an adaptor/usb hub combo available?

This product is for connecting two computers together and operating both with a common monitor, mouse and keyboard.
