does this work for cloning hard drives?

It works just fine for cloning SATA drives. It does not work with conventional hard drives at all since they would require a separate power connection and that won't work with this harness. Strickly for SSD drives.

No, the 3.5" drives are not bus powered. You would need a separate power source for it, and that would not fit with this harness.

The pictures on the description are wrong.. when they zoom in they show a network cat5/6 cable. Will you please correct it ?
