Pros: Fast CPU, super video card that can play any thing you want at ultra settings. Excellent keyboard and 512 GB ssd is plenty of space and loads super fast. Great screen as well.
Cons: Keep well ventilated the air intake on the bottom isn't perfect but as long as youre not in an oven the heat is reasonable and definitely cooler than the Intel counterparts
Overall Review: Keep at max fan settings for best speeds this ramps up the CPU to 35 watts and is a max speed setting for the best performance out of this beast of a laptop.
Pros: *Killer specs and performance, 1660 Ti 6gb and quad core Ryzen 5 - 2.1ghz base (mine goes to 3.7ghz turbo) It can run the latest games fairly comfortably at max or near at 1080p 60fps
*Stylish and simple for a gaming laptop
*Screens got some decent color, no tweaking needed for me
*Room for expansion included. (HDD,Memory, ect)
*internals are decent quality as far as I can tell. My unit shipped with an Intel p660 m.2 SSD
Cons: *Ventilation isn't so great, the cooling setup is fine but the airflow is sub par thanks to the laptops base.
*Includes only 8GB ram. but it's no major. DDR4 SODIMM is cheap, just get another 2666 stick
*No USB type C
*Keyboard is RGB however, you need to download extra asus aura sync software to set color manually.
*Slightly mushy keypad, not a major, and surely not the worst.
Overall Review: Fairly decent for a gaming laptop of this tier. Awesome specs and overall decent quality.
Great style without being over the top. decent screen and keypad seems to be all okay. slightly mushy but not the worst. Needs some extra memory installed, not a major at all though.
I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for the best budget gaming unit you can get.
Cons: The plastic felt robust when I got it, but in the year and a half since I bought it bits and pieces have been shedding off of it. The screw posts inside have snapped, and rattled around inside (almost killed one of the fans)--I've had to open it up to remove plastic shards three times in a year and a half. Just had a piece of the fan outlet snap off from just the pressure of sitting on my lap. Elsewise everything has been great +/- some small gripes with the asus lighting software. I'm kind of frustrated that it's looking like I might have to try to replace the entire frame soon. :|
Overall Review: Was a great deal on sale. In the future I am probably going to opt for something with better build quality.

Fast SSD, good mid grade specs for a great price.3/27/2020 9:02:26 AM
Pros: Fast SSD price performance
Cons: Ram
Overall Review: This is a great option for people searching for a mid range capable gaming laptop. So far it can handle any title with good frames.
1660 ti mobile out performs a 1060 6gb desktop
SSD is fast and loads everything in seconds.
Cpu isn't super fast but handles enough especially in most games as they aren't as computational.
The only things it lacks are due to the price range of the model.
