Pros: stepping up to this from an older logitech headset was like night and day. In games like BF2 and Company of Heroes I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before, and it really lets you feel immersed in the game. Mic quality is also excellent. Also, these are so comfy.. they're really a joy to wear. Build quality is good. Not as substantial as the 5H's, but plenty sturdy enough for the average user. Maybe if you went to alot of LAN parties and were contantly handling and moving these things from one location to the next, it may be worth getting the sturdier 5h, but for the avg. user this 4h set will do nicely. I'm very happy with both the headset and the service I received from Newegg.
Cons: Cord may be a bit short from some people's liking. It's not a problem for me, and even though I had read reviews beforehand stating the cord was shorter, I was still a bit surprised at just how short it was. That's pretty much the only thing I see that could be considered a con, but you can buy extension cables if you need it to be longer.
Overall Review: Again.. basically the same specs as the 5H. The only reason I'd get the 5H over this is if I was in a situation where there was alot of wear and tear on the headset and the extra $$$ is worth the peace of mind to you. Otherwise, this headset is very nice. NOTE-- if you're pairing this up with an Auzentech Prelude sound card and are having problems with your mic's volume being to low.. update your soundcard driver with the latest driver found on their website. Still not as loud as I'd like it to be, but after tweaking the soundcard settings I think I've got it where I need it to be. Still very happy with my purchase, though.
