Does the sound bleed very much?

I can't promise that there has not been any sound bleeding whatsoever, but it has never occurred to the extent that I've noticed it during some relatively constant use. Additionally, I haven't gotten any feedback to that effect from a number of other people at this point.

Would this product work with an xbox 360 and also be able to change to pc?

I don't have a Xbox 360, but this headset works with anything that uses a USB port. I believe Xbox 360 allows headsets to connect with USB if so the answer would be yes.

How far does the wireless reach?

I think it reaches about as far as the Logitech g930, maybe even a little further but you can definitely walk around a house with it no problem, even better if your house is a 2 story and not a trailer

Yes! use optical audio output for best quality sound.  there is a huge difference in sound when using spdif or optical.  as STEEL suggests to use.  XBOX one does support optical out in DTS and DOLBY:

Is this headset completely wireless for the Xbox One? Meaning no cable plugged into the controller.

Not entirely. Using the Xbox One's chat features require you to plug a cable from the headset into Microsoft's headset adapter on the controller. This is a separate purchase and, though having a wire somewhat defeats the purpose of a wireless headset, it still provides great audio quality while chatting and allows you to walk away from the TV so long as you have your controller with you. Xbox One without chat features is truly wireless just as you'd expect

Hey I was just wondering if this headset can utilize its multiple inputs at the same time - like while gaming can i have the pc part hooked up as well and listen to music or watch a stream with my game sound still  going the way i can with turtle beach or does the mixamp have a selected output that it uses?
 If you dont get why i do this its because i use my headset, pc , and gaming system to stream to twitch and the only reason for this purchase would be comfort during long sessions and being wireless for non gaming uses like watching a movie in bed. Obviously wont be worth 265 if it doesnt do what i need it to do.

This might help your question I am not sure but as far as I know through the transmitter you can select what input/output you want to use such as usb,aux and I forget the other option.

As far as transfering to a game system from say PC its as simple as change the usb and on the transmitter change the option to 'xbox 360' per say.

I bought these headset when it first came out but ended up returning them because the volume was just not loud enough compared to various other headsets i used like the G930, Astros A50 and a few Turtle Beaches.
Has there been a software/firmware update or a new revision to give them a bit more volume?

I can believe that. not sure why that is.  I use them on a playstation 3. and they are super loud.  not to mention these are the sickest most insane sounding dolby 5.1 gaming headphones I have ever heard when using the fiber optic for sound.  When out putting the sound through my Sound Blaster Z sound card with PC tuner card analog signal in to my TV.  I notice that some channels are not loud and others are to loud.   really weird.  someone find out from SteelSeries wth is going on.

Does the headset work good with hearing footsteps in fps games?

I've had the headset for about a week. It works very well to hear footsteps. Just make sure you set the speaker setup in game to 5.1 or 7.1
