Will this memory work for Dell Precision 7820 Tower?

It will depend on the motherboard and cpu, this is ecc registered ram, so both the motherboard and cpu need to support it. With that said, if you're like me, you may be trying to avoid Dell's 300% markup on "OEM" RAM. I have packed a Dell PowerEdge R640 with 384GB's of these sticks and have no issues.
