Supermicro's SYS-5015P-T 1U barebone server is a big bang in a small package. The front panel has four hot swap SATA drive bays, a slim DVD–ROM drive, and a slim floppy drive. On the back there is one regular height and one slim expansion slot. A 400W power supply provides power to the server.
The Super PDSMPi motherboard mother board can handle a Pentium 4 or Celeron D processor. Four DIMM sockets support up to 8GB of Unbuffered DDR2 667/533 ECC memory. The SATA controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10.
ATI's RageXL controller with 8 MB of video memory provides graphics support. Dual gigabit ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an RS-232 port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports round out the ports on this system.
