Pros: - I can't believe there are only 4 reviews, this is one of Supermicro's hidden gems. I am using it as an ESXi Server running 8 VMs on it. If i put another 32 GB of RAM in it I could run even more. - I was looking for a server to run my virtual lab (eve-ng) on and got so much more. - I added a dedicated RAID controller to the system for storing the VM's and boot ESXi off the M.2 SSD. - Power usage is incredible. Low wattage but powerful CPU. Tons of headroom for growth.
Cons: - Something has to go here, but I haven't found any in the 5 months I have been running this server 24/7
Overall Review: - Anyone looking for a compact robust server to Host VMs or create a Virtual Network Lab needs to seriously consider this server.
