Supermicro's SYS-6015P-TRB 1U barebone server is a big bang in a small package. The front panel has four hot swap drive bays, a slim DVD–ROM drive and a bay for a slim floppy drive. On the back there is one regular height and one compact expansion bay. Redundant 700W AC power supply provide redundant power to the server.
The Super X7DBP-i motherboard supports two dual or quad core Xeon processors. Eight 240 pin DIMM sockets can handle up to 32GB of 667 / 533MHz DDR2 ECC FB-DIMM memory. The on-board SATA/SAS 3Gb/s controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10.
ATI's ES1000 controller with 16 MB of video memory provides graphics support. Dual gigabit ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports round out the ports on this system.
