Is this open loop (can I add gpu?)

Yes.  This is capable of adding GPU cooling.   A big difference between the swiftechs and most other integrated coolers.  I've had two of these (this one and an older model), both have worked very well.

Question 2

Can the unit be mounted Vertically?

Yes.  It can be mounted in any direction except placing the radiator face-down.  The pump pulls from very near the bottom of the res, so you will be sucking air if you do it that way.  You would also need a custom bracket of some kind since the rear of the radiator isn't threaded.

You might be able to get away with face-down if you got out every air bubble from the line.  There is maybe 1/8" gap from the edge of the res before the pump intake, but I wouldn't risk it unless you absolutely had too.

Question 3

Does Swiftech cover destroyed parts if it leaks?

Just like most companies I believe it doesnt, but that's due to you need to take your time installing it, make sure there are no kinks and make sure to test it before installing, if you do that you shouldn't have an issue, I can say performance and looks of it are great

From what i can see in the pictures it is not possible to do a push - pull fan setup, is it?

Short answer: No.  The radiator is only threaded on one side and about 20% blocked, so it would require some serious effort to setup a push/pull.  I would say it isn't worth it in a rad this small.
