How big is this fan?

Hello, Debra!
     I purchased this fan from Newegg.  I just measured it for you, so here are the dimensions.  It is really a mini type fan.  The diameter is about 6 inches. So, it is 6 inches across from side to side and from top to bottom and from all outside edges of the circle to the opposing outside edges. The height from the stand to the top of the fan is about 9 inches.  Thus, it is a pretty small and miniature in size.  Hope that helps :)     Jane

I'm thinking about using this fan for Peace Corps...How fast do you think it will drain 4 AA's if I wanted it to help keep me cool when I sleep?

Fan motor gave out about a month after i got it with about 1-2 hours of daily use.
