      Pros: I have a computer with an older motherboard with USB version one, and two external USB plugs on the front of the case. This card allowed me to plug the front USB plugs into the expansion card and have USB 2.0 speeds available at the front of my computer, as well as the back. Other cards have the USB B connector, but I had a hard time finding one with the USB header pins. This one fit the bill.

      Cons: The USB header connection is shared with the internal USB B connector, so use either one or the other. All the external ports are still available.

      Overall Review: Worked with every OS that supported USB that I tried.

      You mentioned that the header does not work. Do the USB ports work?

      The header is a shared port with one of the USB port. To test the header, disconnect all other device from this card.

      If the USB ports keep failing, please contact us for a replacement.

      Comments: It appears the MSI 7551 (785GT-E63 Socket AM2+ 785G) doesn't have enough IRQs available to run this card... If I disable the onboard video, LAN, USB, Audio then 2 of the 4 devices install, but thats it... It looks like the card is great but my motherboard just isn't capable... I'll use it in my Mac until I update my board.

      Comments: For the $14 I spent it isn't worth returning.

      Comments: I bought it primarily for the Firewire port. It uses a Via chipset. I think I'll try a TI chipset next time.
