Is tis compatible with Linux? Windows 7 Pro?

I truly need to know that it to works in Linux for the project we are working on. We will be running a dual OS test

Running under Linux, can I put two or more of these in a machine and count on not having interrupt collisions?

That really depends on your motherboard. I hope you realize that PCI Express doesn't use physical interrupt lines at all, everything is multiplexed; so if your motherboard follows the spec properly and your OS is compliant there is no reason you couldn't use several cards at once. The older PCI bus motherboards had options for overriding the PnP settings to give each UART its own dedicated IRQ due to software conflicts with the virtualized interrupt levels; this hasn't been a problem for 10 years or more.
